Lower (occupied) and upper (unoccupied) band used in the Polarization function calculation. E.g., needed to obtain the Static Dielectric Screening which is required for the e-h attractive part of the BSE, or the plasmon-pole screened interaction of the GW calculations

Tips & Tricks
The number of bands affects the time of the calculations: a decrease of the number of bands determines a reduction the Polarization function matrix, but convergence tests are needed in order to obtain correct results.
