Dear developer,
When I use yambo_kerr to calculate the Moke effect, it is well known that the value of θk represents the rotated angle of the polarization plane of reflected light relative to that of the incident light. But I don't know if the positive value of θk represents clockwise or anticlockwise retation. Could you help me?
Yours sincerely

Re: θk
Dear Chenhai,
Usually what is meaningful is the value of the angle. Given the direction of the magnetization in the sample, the direction depends on the convention used.
Indeed I do not remember the convention adopted in yambo.
I'll try to check and reply here in the next days ... but it maybe faster if you simply take a material (like bulk iron) for which the result is known and check which is the convention used in yambo
Best,
D.
